Well, I came across this recipe a while back and filed it away. Next time those ribs were on sale again, I gave it a shot and I fell in LOVE! I'll come back and add photos tonight, but basically I preheat the oven to 325. Sprinkle the ribs with salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder. I pour a little of my favorite BBQ sauce in a foil lined 9x13 pan (well, A favorite, not THE favorite. I found a more basic sauce is best, not the raspberry chipolte I love most, so I use Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar for this recipe), then I place the ribs in the pan and pour on more. For 6-8 ribs I use about half to two-thirds of a bottle. I turn them around to really coat them. Cover with foil and place in the oven for about 1.5 hours. That's it! I've had them get out to closer to 2 hours and they were delish still, and even more fall apart tender. That was an adventure in homemade mac&cheese gone wrong (if anyone has a recipe they love, PLEASE share!!), and it pushed dinner back quite a bit.
I like to serve this with mac&cheese and sauteed broccoli. I blanch the broccoli by boiling for just a minute then shocking it in a bowl of ice water. I drain it and set aside. Preheat a little olive oil in a skillet and add the broccoli. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper and cook until crisp tender... just 1-2 minutes. I then sprinkle it with 3:1 grated parmesan cheese:brown sugar. Divine! And it's the best side dish with pork ribs. Yum!!!
